We are a husband and wife team that owns and operates Herbata Abacus Tutor in the Toronto, North York, Markham and Scarborough areas.
Lijina Joseph
Co-owner and Instructor
Lijina is motivated by the belief that it is the vital duty of the current generation to provide for, prepare, and give to the next generation.
This motivation is the reason that Lijina, together with her husband Christopher, decided to teach abacus as a means to improve the academic and cognitive abilities of children.
Lijina holds a double bachelors in mathematics and education and has prior experience teaching children.
Christopher Chmielewski
Co-owner and Operator
Christopher, together with his wife Lijina, operates Herbata Abacus Tutor.
Christopher is a working professional with prior experience in the manufacturing and software industries.
Christopher holds a bachelors in Industrial Systems Engineering and a postgraduate certificate in Cybersecurity.
